QuoVira Health · Health & care software · For councils and the NHS
Health and care apps for the public sector, built to be used.
We advise councils and NHS organisations on digital health and care, then design and build the services residents, families and carers actually use. We run our own live product, Striova, so we know what it takes to get an app past medical-device, DTAC and data-protection scrutiny.

Built for the organisations that care for people
Public bodies need services people will actually use, and evidence that those services are safe, accessible and lawful. We bring both.
Councils
Adult social care, carers, SEND, Family Hubs and public health teams with a duty to inform, support and report.
- Digital front doors for carers, families and residents
- Online self-assessment and warm referral into your services
- Usage, outcomes and equality reporting for commissioners
- Council-branded, with the council owning the content and data
ICBs, trusts and primary care
Teams that want a patient- or family-facing tool, or need to know whether one they are buying is safe to use.
- Medical device and DTAC triage before you commit
- Patient and family apps that support care while people wait
- Clinical safety (DCB0129/0160) and DPIA evidence prepared with you
- Independent review of a supplier’s product or claims
Framework suppliers
Larger digital partners who need a health and care specialist on a bid or a team, under their contract.
- Health and care regulation expertise for bids and delivery
- Product design and engineering capacity for family and carer services
- A live, evidenced product to point to
- Small, senior and quick to mobilise
§2What we do
From the first question to a live service
Advice, research, design, engineering, assurance and support for health and care services, delivered by one accountable team.
Assurance & regulatory advice
Whether a product is a medical device under MHRA guidance, what DTAC, DSPT and a DPIA will ask of it, and what to put in the specification so you buy something safe.
Discovery & user research
Research with residents, carers, families and staff to find out what they need and how they are helped today, before anyone commits to building.
Accessible service design
Services designed to the GOV.UK and NHS service standards and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA, including with people who are less confident online.
App & platform engineering
Web and mobile apps on secure, UK-hosted infrastructure, built in short visible iterations, with the code and data owned by you.
Reporting & responsible data
Usage, outcomes and equality reporting commissioners can act on. Any automation is explainable and never makes decisions about people.
Live service & support
Monitoring, security patching, accessibility re-checks and steady improvement after launch, or an intelligent client to manage your existing supplier.
§3Our own product
We run what we recommend: Striova
Striova is our ADHD and autism companion for UK families, for children with or without a diagnosis. It turns everyday observations at home and school into clear patterns and appointment-ready evidence, so the wait for an assessment becomes useful.
We designed, built and run it ourselves, to the same assurance standard we bring to public-sector work. When we advise you on medical-device rules, children’s data or accessibility, it is because we have had to get them right on our own product.
Visit striova.co.ukWhat it shows a commissioner
- One non-diagnostic record that parents, schools and clinicians build together
- Designed around where SEND policy is heading: support before a diagnosis, not after
- Information, never a diagnosis: kept outside medical-device rules by design
- UK-hosted, UK GDPR and ICO Children’s Code by design
We are developing new services for families and unpaid carers, and are looking for councils and NHS teams to shape them with us from the start.
Talk to us about partnering§4How we work
Discovery to live, with the evidence built in
We work in the phases you already use from the GOV.UK and NHS service standards. Safety, privacy and accessibility are part of delivery, not a final gate.
Discovery
Research with the people the service is for. We find out what they need and decide what to build, or whether to build at all.
Alpha
Prototypes tested with real users and staff, to answer the riskiest questions before money goes into engineering.
Beta
A working, accessible service launched to a first group of users, then widened as it proves itself.
Live
Monitoring, security patching, reporting and continuous improvement based on how people actually use it.
Assure throughout
Medical device triage, DPIA, clinical safety (DCB0129/0160), DTAC and accessibility evidence produced as we go.
